Coming Soon! Mindfulness & Speech Therapy Guide for SLPs!
Simple, practical information and activities to use with your adult patients and clients
You’ve probably seen, read about, or experienced the benefits of mindfulness - for stress, attention, emotional regulation, and overall well-being.
But when it comes to incorporating mindfulness into speech therapy sessions, it can feel unclear. You might wonder:
- How does this actually fit within our scope as SLPs?
- What does mindfulness look like in a real therapy session?
- How can it support communication and cognitive skills?
- What do I actually say or do with clients?
This guide was created to help answer those questions.
What's Inside
This 30-page downloadable guide shows you how to easily incorporate mindfulness into speech therapy in a way that supports both you and your clients.
No long meditations. No unrealistic expectations. Just simple, adaptable tools that fit into real sessions. With background information to help you understand the WHY and HOW behind them.
- Easy-to-understand explanation of the foundations of mindfulness, yoga, and meditation
- The nervous system and why regulation matters for communication
- Low prep activities to embed mindfulness into speech therapy with your adult clients
- Aphasia-friendly considerations
- Simple scripts and examples you can actually use
- Access to my chair yoga library (including a discount code for a free class!)
This guide is not about becoming a yoga teacher or meditation expert. It’s about helping SLPs feel more confident using small, practical mindfulness strategies to support your clients.
